Tilaye Kassahun Ayen (PhD) currently serves as an Associate Professor of Management at St. Mary’s University. In addition, he holds roles as Founder and General Manager of PRIN International Consultancy and Research Services PLC, Abrak Medical Services PLC, TAKSEL Trading PLC, and Mountain Trading PLC. His leadership extends to international initiatives, as he managed the GPE’s Knowledge and Innovation Exchange (KIX) Hub for Anglophone Africa under UNESCO from 2020 to 2021. He also served as Director of Research, Publications and Outreach Services at the Ethiopian Civil Service College as well as as Assistant Professor of Management and Senior Planning Expert at the same institute from1997to 2010. Tilaye has served on the Board of Directors at Abay Bank from 2017to 2019 and as the Board Chairman of Jabi Integrated Agro-Industry S.C. His academic contributions include serving as a visiting professor in Human Resources Management, Entrepreneurship, Strategic Management, Corporate Governance, Strategic Leadership, Change Management, and Project Management at institutions such as AAU, Bahir Dar University, Jimma University, the University of South Africa (UNISA), Indira Gandhi Open University (India-affiliated with SMU), University CAT TOLICA (Italy- affiliated with SMU), International Leadership Institute (Greenwich University), and Jetro Leadership Institute. He has completed numerous consultancy tasks for organizations such as USAID, the World Bank, UNESCO, UNICEF, DFID, NRC, MDF, DBE, Save the Children International, Plan International, Ministry of Education, MoLSA, and many others. His academic qualifications include a PhD in Management, an MBA in Human Resources Management, a Postgraduate Diploma in Management, an MA in Educational Administration, and a BA in Pedagogy/Mathematics. He received professional training certificates in Project Management, Strategic HRM, Strategic Leadership and Management, Advanced Research, Corporate Governance, Risk Management, BPR, BSC, Benchmarking Techniques, and others.
